iPRES 2025 will begin with a ceremonial welcome in Te Reo Māori acknowledging the arrival and coming together of mana whenua (local people) and manuhiri (guests) at Tākina Convention & Exhibition Centre. This welcome will include karanga (ceremonial call), whaikōrero (welcome speech), and waiata tautoko (song), followed by a cup of tea to help us transition from the ceremony to the start of the workshop day. We invite all delegates to participate in this important moment of cultural exchange and connection to open the conference. Please be aware that there will not be an English translation during the welcome.
