The Building Warrant of Fitness (BWoF) team have the mission to ensure our buildings are up to standard and that they be safe for the public. They need to proactively audit buildings based on their need and priority.
This BWoF project had the goal of taking the inspectors from literally using clipboards and paper check sheets for surveys, to using state of the art pre-populated electronic surveys using a combination of ESRI Workforce and Survey123.
Inspectors in the field can now access and capture:
• images
• previous compliance schedules
• notes
• Workforce assignments.
We can now deliver 'Compliance Schedules' to end users via a self-service webpage where customers can click on a property of interest and download the latest Compliance Schedule for that building.
All this has resulted in an enormous increase in the number of BWoF inspections conducted per year.
