National Standardisation: Collaborative Approaches to Streamlining Council Processes
Abstract
Ever felt like it's strange that we all offer the same services, have similar structures and use the same systems yet two neighbouring councils can operate in completely different ways?
In a time when the catch cry is "do more with less" one way we can achieve a lot more with limited resources is by sharing, collaborating and standardising processes.
Join Mike Manson (ALGIM) as he delves into the ALGIM National Standards project and how your council can get involved.
And if LGOIMA is a right pain in the a*** for you right now - Sean Wallace (Flowingly) will be showcasing Otorohanga District Council's automated LGOIMA workflow - and sharing it with the audience for use at your own council. He'll also be showing how you can get your hands on other automated workflows from councils across New Zealand and Australia - for free!
