Improving public experience with digital government services
Abstract
The Government Chief Digital Officer is working with agencies to develop and deliver modern, efficient, and trusted customer-centred public services. This presentation will review the latest data on digital in the NZ public service (including use of AI) and outline our priorities through the new Digitising Government roadmap and the collaboration activities that drive savings, reduce risk and improve public experience.
Biography
Monica Greenan is the General Manager, Agency Partnerships and Capability, Digital Public Service - Te Kōtui Whitiwhiti.
Monica’s role is to lead change across the public service focusing on digital service modernisation, investment, standards, workforce and delivering a more unified customer experience aligned to the Strategy for a Digital Public Service. She has a background in a wide range of public and private sector roles in both the UK and NZ with a focus on data and digital.
