Abstract
Since 2004, the ALGIM's award winning IM Toolkit has provided a foundation for local authorities to establish robust Information and Records Management programmes across Aotearoa New Zealand. It's tools and resources are designed to bring a standardised approach to IRM across the sector, from the far north to the deep south, and acts a reminder that we are a community and are here to support each other. Collaboration is a cornerstone of the IM Toolkit - developed for local government by local government – come along to find out more about the IM Toolkit’s story and how you can help to develop this fantastic resource now, and for the future.
Biography
With over 18 years of local government IM experience (which included participation in several IM Toolkit working groups), Jonathan is now ALGIM's go-to IM whiz, and enjoying being in a role that allows him to share his knowledge and experience back to the IM community, and liaising with practitioners across the motu, and providing a voice for the sector, such as with his participation in the review of the List of Protected Records for Local Authorities.
