Melbourne's smart city approach, identifying challenges and deploying small scale and collaborative pilots (multi-stream)
Abstract
City of Melbourne's smart city approach is uniquely collaborative, creative and transparent. Through identifying challenges where tech and data can make big impacts, and deploying small scale and collaborative pilots, they are uplifting the digital maturity not only of the organisation but also the community. Digital Innovation Challenges allow exciting industry-led pilots to come to fruition, investing in ideas and further fostering local innovation. Internal innovation pilots are breaking down silos and helping embed data in decision-making for city resilience.
