How to align stakeholder expectations to make faster and stickier decisions
Abstract
Even when everyone agrees, making a decision can be a long process when you have multiple stakeholders involved – each wanting to have their own influence on the outcome. In this session, Dan will share stories on how Datacom has supported IT leaders in large complex organisations to understand and align on decisions that last all the way through to implementation.
Biography
Graduating from the Charles Rennie Macintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow, Dan's pathway into IT and his subsequent career haven't been "typical". A self-confessed 'non-technologist', Dan draws on his unique background to work closely with stakeholders of all backgrounds to help align expectations, then support them to achieve their desired outcomes. Acting as the conscience throughout project delivery, Dan ensures that these expectations are kept at the forefront of project delivery.
