Starting the IM Journey - Helping Council Staff Discover the Value in Information Management
Abstract
A practical, interactive workshop that gives a top-down view of information management - from Legislation to the tools we use every day. In this workshop we will go over why each step matters for your council’s outcomes. It maps the best places to start your upskilling journey, highlights accredited learning providers and sector connection points, and curates ongoing resources for self-directed learning. Devices are encouraged — slides and links are online — with quick-fire group discussions to apply ideas to current council problems. Participants leave with a comprehensive list of resources/ and providers, and clear ways to connect with sector leaders.
