Julia & Michael will discuss their journey, opportunities and the challenges they’ve had along the way.
Biography
Julia manages Wellington’s Digital Innovation Programme. She is responsible for driving opportunities to leverage innovative solutions across the city’s priority areas including transport, resilience, urban development, community safety and asset management. Julia previously held the position of Innovation and Engagement Lead at Smart Docklands - a unique smart city testbed in Dublin.

Biography
Michael leads the Smart Christchurch Programme and manages the unit that supports the Councils vision to make Christchurch a city where anything is possible through trialling innovative technology and approaches as well as inspiring fresh thinking. He is focused on supporting organisations and communities to implement positive change and believes smart solutions, innovation and sustainable technology are critical to our future.
