Group Bookings: You can register individually or as a group. Group registration has the ability to either pay or be invoiced as a group. If you are registering a group of 6 or more from the same organisation, please call us on 027 410 6567.

Member guests: NZCB members can register one guest at the guest member rate instead of the additional delegate rate — perfect for a partner, colleague, or friend. Include your guest as a member in your group booking. For any additional registrations select the additional delegate category.

Behind the Build Site Tour

Thursday 4 June 2026, 8am - 5pm

Kick start your NZCB Conference and Expo experience with us at the Behind the Build Site Tour — a full-day experience. 

 

Site 1: Auckland Airport

Join us for an exclusive site tour of Auckland Airport’s new Domestic Terminal, hosted by Auckland Airport and Hawkins.

This event provides a rare opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the delivery of a major infrastructure project within a fully operational airport environment. Attendees will hear directly from the Hawkins and Auckland Airport project delivery team and learn about the challenges, planning, and execution involved in building at scale in a live operational setting.

PPE: You will require steel cap boots, long sleeves and trousers for this tour; you are welcome to bring your own hard hat, hi-vis and safety glasses, although these will be supplied by NZCB.

Site 2: Cabjaks 

Cabjaks is excited to welcome members to a tour of their manufacturing, assembly and showroom facilities in Pakuranga, Auckland. Cabjaks is one of very few scale manufacturers in NZ producing kitchen, laundry and bathroom cabinets, as well as wardrobe solutions. Cabjaks is the only scale manufacturer producing fully assembled cabinets using a glue and dowel method in an automated press. Their team welcomes the opportunity to showcase their operations and provide insights into cabinet production as well as tips and tricks for design and installation. The trip will have four key sessions, being "Board to Components” where their scale manufacturing is showcased alongside their bench top production. “Component to Customer” covers the assembly of components into finished cabinetry for dispatch nationwide. Their showroom team will cover "Design to Order” where NZCB members will learn the ins and outs of design and planning and lastly “Installation to Satisfaction” where tips on installation of cabinetry and wardrobes will leave attendees feeling better informed and ready to take on their next joinery challenge.   

Site 3: High Performer Building Hub
A tour of the High Performer Building Hub offers a hands-on look at some of the latest products, systems, and innovations shaping the future of construction in New Zealand. Visitors explore a curated space showcasing high-performance materials, acoustic solutions, glazing, flooring, lighting, and smart building technologies; all designed to improve how buildings are designed, built, and lived in. The tour highlights real-world applications, allowing architects, builders, and industry professionals to see, touch, and discuss products while connecting with the brands and ideas driving better building practices.

Payment

Twelve Conferences + Events are managing the collection of conference payments. Payment can be made by credit/debit card or pay by invoice. Purchase order numbers can be entered by selecting the 'Pay by invoice & enter a purchase order' option.

Credit/debit card payment: We accept payment online by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Credit/Debit Card payments are processed via our secure gateway Stripe. Click here for Stripe’s Privacy Policy. A surcharge is applicable on all credit/debit transactions – 3% domestic (NZ) cards. Your payment will appear on your statement as a transaction with 'Twelve Conferences + Events'.

Pay by invoice: Full account details for payment by direct credit are included on the invoice. If opting to pay by international direct credit, all bank fees must be paid by the participant. This includes fees to send and receive funds.
