Overview

Mihi whakatau
Te Taumata Tapu o Ngāi Tūāhuriri hold the mauri for the kawa & tīkanga o Ngāi Tūāhuriri, and this includes conducting cultural ceremonies. This years mihi whakatau will be conducted Te Taumata Tapu o Ngāi Tūāhuriri. We ask all delegates to be seated in the auditorium at 12:15pm promptly. The delegation needs to be seated prior to the start. A mihi whakatau is a form of welcome similar to a pōwhiri, but less formal.
