LINZ update on the latest national data, services, and programmes
Presentation Full Abstract
Land Information New Zealand provides nationally significant geospatial datasets and services that enable a variety of applications and insights. The datasets serve a variety of industry and government uses and are considered key datasets for national resilience and responding to climate change. Recent data developments include the completion of the PGF-LiDAR programme, new imagery of the North Island in support of Cyclone Gabrielle recovery, and the commencement of the 3D Coastal Mapping project. Service enhancements include new features in our distribution channels including the LINZ Data Service, LINZ Basemaps, and AWS.
Biography
Bjorn is a Principal Geospatial Specialist at LINZ, leading the team responsible for aerial imagery and lidar coordination, curation, and distribution.
Daniel is a Principal Geospatial Specialist at LINZ, leading the team responsible for data engineering, cloud optimisation, and innovative distribution channels.
