Peter Hawkins serves as the General Manager for Esri Inc Asia Pacific, the global leader in location and spatial intelligence solutions for Governments, Industry and the Private Sector. Peter brings over 20 years of experience developing geospatial, data, platform and services innovations across consumer, enterprise, and IOT space. Located in Singapore but originally from London and Sydney, Peter has extensive experience working alongside the top Global technology companies in the technology, software and data industries across Europe, Asia and the US.

Biography
Sean Audain is the Strategic Planning Manager at the Wellington City Council and responsible for leading the Urban Planning, City Insights, Cultural Heritage, Iwi/RMA interface and Infrastructure Strategy for Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. Sean has been a leader in Urban Planning, particularly in city innovation and digital cities for the past ten years, exploring how Open Data, AI, Reality Technologies, Geospatial and other Digital Capabilities can make for more adaptive, engaging and resilient cities. Sean has served on national and international bodies including the Open Government Partnership Expert Advisory Panel, the ANZ Future of Place initiative, The World Economic Forums G20 cities Privacy Impact taskforce and Digital Twins Advisory Panel. Sean’s work has been recognised through a number of international awards including Harvard TECH City Innovator of the year 2020 and Wellington being selected for the Bloomberg Global Mayors Challenge.

Biography
Mathy Dornan is a GIS professional with over 14 years of experience in the geospatial industry and currently manages the Geospatial team at Transpower. Before joining Transpower, she worked in the transport sector, local government, and Statistics NZ. With a strong background in GIS, Mathy has led her teams in developing solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of Transpower and its stakeholders. Throughout her time at Transpower, she has played a key role in enhancing geospatial capabilities, helping to integrate spatial data more effectively across the organisation and encouraging cross-sector collaborations.

Hamish is the Senior Projects Officer – Marine and Freshwater Biosecurity at the Bay of Plenty Regional Council. He has previous experience as a Biosecurity Officer, Land Management Officer, and Pest Plant Officer.
Mr Scott Sambell

Biography
Scott Sambell is first and foremost a fieldworker in the conservation industry. Along with his fully certified rodent detection dog Milly, he has worked on hundreds of pest free islands and sanctuaries, ensuring that our threatened taonga (precious species) have a safe environment to survive.
Over the years he became frustrated with the slow uptake of technology in the conservation industry and his company, Ethos Environmental, gradually evolved from providing on-the-ground expertise to providing in-the-cloud world class spatial data services.
Several years, and a few national and international awards later, his team are industry leaders in developing Geographical Information Systems to conservation projects across Aotearoa/New Zealand and beyond.
Chris Stevens

Biography
Chris Stevens is the Operational Technology Adviser for Surf Life Saving NZ. Holding this advisory role since 2011, Chris has focused on LMR network design, planning and implementation as well as GIS and mapping application design and commissioning for SLSNZ. Chris commenced his career in GIS and critical communications in the mid 1990’s and later started his own consulting business in the late 2000’s. Consulting to public safety, emergency management, mining and utilities organisations, Chris has been able to think outside the box and provide client-centric outcomes aimed at information sharing and interoperability.
