This workshop provides an overview of decontamination principles, covering manual and automated cleaning and disinfection processes. Attendees will learn how to select the most suitable disinfectant for different applications and discover innovative colour technology designed to make decontamination visible, verifiable, and reproducible.

Sam is a Senior Study Manager and Microbiologist at Tristel Solutions, where he leads the development and delivery of clinical and microbiological research programmes supporting infection prevention and control. His global role spans the planning, execution, and management of clinical studies, alongside the design and oversight of microbiological efficacy testing of disinfectant products to international standards. Sam specialises in the evaluation of disinfectants against challenging microorganisms and biofilms, including developing novel test methods to ensure products can robustly demonstrate regulatory compliance and real world performance.
